Slavic Inspiration: Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Falafel and Hummus

Ingredients:

- 12 large cabbage leaves

- 12 Infused Mediterranean Foods falafel balls

- 1 cup cooked rice

- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 cup tomato sauce

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cabbage leaves and blanch them for 3-4 minutes until tender. Remove the leaves and set aside to cool.

2. In a separate pan, sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic until golden brown.

3. Add the cooked rice to the pan and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

4. Take a cabbage leaf and place a spoonful of the rice mixture in the center. Place a falafel ball on top of the rice.

5. Fold the sides of the cabbage leaf over the filling and roll it up tightly.

6. Repeat the process with the remaining cabbage leaves and filling.

7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour the tomato sauce into a baking dish.

8. Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in the baking dish on top of the tomato sauce.

9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the rolls are cooked through and the flavors have melded together.

11. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
