South American Mini-Series: Chimichurri Falafel Skewers

Welcome to the first installment of our South American Spice mini-series! Get ready to elevate your falafel game with these tantalizing Chimichurri Falafel Skewers. Inspired by the vibrant flavors of South America, this recipe combines the goodness of Infused Mediterranean Foods' falafel with the tangy and herbaceous chimichurri sauce. Let's dive in!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Infused Mediterranean Foods' falafel

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes

  • Skewers

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine fresh parsley, fresh cilantro, minced garlic cloves, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Blend until well combined, but still slightly chunky.

  2. Marinate the Infused Mediterranean Foods' falafel in the chimichurri sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  3. Skewer the falafel and grill or bake them until they are perfectly cooked and golden on the outside.

  4. Serve the Chimichurri Falafel Skewers with a side of extra chimichurri sauce for dipping.
